Job Purpose:

The Product Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, organization, and implementation of the Council's strategies and campaigns that support girls, parents, volunteer and staff.


Job Accountabilities:

  • Assist with the organization and management of the annual state-wide Girl Scout product program.
  • Coordinate and manage the state-wide cookie booth program to include creating partnerships with consumer retail locations, entering and updating online database, and partnering troops with locations.
  • Assist with all training, product-program related activities, programs, and incentives. Assist with financial accountabilities, product inventory, and daily statistics.
  • Assist with the verification and reconciliation of online databases.
  • Manage related paperwork, forms, and information. Insure accuracy with database, mailings, and communication efforts.
  • Insure accuracy of activity credit assignment and distribution for all participants.
  • Effectively resolve cookie account problems with parents, volunteers, and staff members.
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff members, volunteers, and community representatives to ensure results for mutually acceptable goals.


  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to edit work for spelling and grammar, present numerical data effectively, and able to read and interpret written information.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills while achieving results in partnership with others with the desire and ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft office, databases, email, internet applications, and internet research.
  • Demonstrated abilities in planning, managing multiple priorities, marketing, speaking to groups, training, and achieving results in partnership with others.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma and three to five years in project coordination
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week as a non-exempt staff, this may include some evenings and occasional Saturdays.
  • This position requires the moving, lifting, stocking, and carrying of boxes, furniture, and supplies. Must be able to bend down, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation, current Utah driver's license, and automobile insurance. Travel to other Girl Scout and community locations is required.
