Why Join the Girl Scouts Team?

Girl Scouts is the second most-trusted brand in the nation. Founded on the legacy of Juliette Gordon Low and fueled by a century of caring adults, we are committed to building girls of courage, confidence and character in local communities. We believe in the POWER of G.I.R.L. and enable Kindergarten through High School-aged girls to find their inner Go-Getter, Innovator, Risk-Taker and Leader.

Locally, our team is driven to connect more girls to Girl Scouts in our rapidly growing state. To be relevant in today's world, we are transforming the girl and adult member experience. And, to lead this transformation, we are building a staff team of innovative, agile, tenacious, adaptable, committed and performance-driven individuals to engage next generation Girl Scouts, leaders and parents.

How the Training and Development Coordinator Contributes to our Transformation

Our adult volunteers are the primary way in which the Girl Scout Leadership Experience is delivered. It is crucial that these leaders receive appropriate, accessible, and timely training in order to be successful in their roles.

The Training and Development Coordinator will provide exceptional support to our valued members through the development, delivery, and evaluation of all training activities, both in person and online, for volunteers and older girl members.
